So it turns out Notch saw it, but didn’t read my previous blog post.

And I don’t blame him. The title I gave the blog post — “What’s Wrong with Minecraft (and How to Fix it)” — comes off (unintentionally) as, “Hey, Notch, let me fix that boring game of yours.”

Now that I think about it, I…

BAHF, you know what? i don’t think you should have to apologize here! you stated your intentions plenty of times in that post, and it was more than obvious that they were pure and of course simply your own opinions concerning a game you truly enjoy, as many of us do. i feel like notch always takes these things the wrong way—criticism and input, especially the polite kind you’ve offered, is an GODSEND for a game like minecraft and the people behind it. they should be listening to all intelligent opinions offered that they have time for, let their gushy insides swell with pride and joy that someone could care SO MUCH about something they help create to put so much time and thought into speaking their mind about it. i don’t understand notch’s tweet about how one sentence, littlethought tweet/suggestions to him are cool BUT OH NO WHAT? you actually put some heartandbrain into your well thought out post HEAVENS NO TAKE IT AWAY V: it makes no sense to me at all! of course anything any one person says in such circumstances is simply their own opinions and should be understood as such, and never ignored.

BAH, i know i’m being a bit hard on the guy but what really got my goat was the tweet he made addressing it. instead of feeling the aforementioned positive things in response to a post like yours, he has stated that it drains him of his inspiration and motivation? MY MIND IS BOGGLED BEYOND BELIEF.
